Chukar waterjets are manufactured in St. Michael, MN U.S.A.
Chukar Waterjet has been a leading manufacturer of UHP waterjet equipment since 1993. In 2010, we developed a subsea waterjet that was lowered 5,000 feet into the Gulf of Mexico to blast away hydrates clogging a containment system during the oil spill disaster.
We now offer deepwater subsea waterjet systems that are operable to 10,000 feet (3000 meters).
We continously improve our technology to meet the demands of the world's harshest environments. Here we are testing in the icy waters of Lake Superior.
In addition to subsea waterjet equipment, we also rent, lease and sell top-side waterjet equipment including mobile cutting tools, mobile surface preparation tools and the intensifier pumps used to power the tools. This modular electric-powered hydraulic intensifer pump is designed to fit between bulkheads for shipboard use.
Chukar subsea and topside waterjet equipment will be on display at OTC.
Chukar Waterjet provides innovative solutions for the world's most challenging waterjet applications.
An industry leading provider of waterjet applications consulting and services, Chukar Waterjet pioneered the development of deepwater subsea waterjet technology in response to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster. Chukar now offers underwater waterjet cutting and blasting equipment capable of operating at depths in excess of 3000 meters.
